Business Psychology (B.A.)

Overview

As of 2011 the West Coast University of Applied Sciences is offering the bachelor degree program “Business Psychology”, which combines the areas of psychology and business administration.

The program is designed as a regular full-time study course, which is taught over 6 semesters (180 ECTS). Upon the completion of the course, graduates are awared with the degree Bachelor or Arts in Business Psychology. A 20-week student placement is a mandatory part of this course and is scheduled for the 4th semester. Besides lectures on the basics in psychology and business administration, students may choose a specific direction (major) within their studies. The two majors students may choose from are:

• “Marketing & Sales” or
• “HRM & Organization”

Within the chosen major, students not only take part in regular business psychology lectures and seminars, but also in applied research projects in order to enhance the understanding of the application of theoretical knowledge in real life business.
