Majors

Within the degree program "Business Psychology" students may choose a special direction (major) from 3rd semester onwards. The majors which can be chosen from are Marketing & Sales and HRM & Organization. Both majors (MJ) consist of the following modules:

  • MJ Business Psychology I
  • MJ Business Psychology II
  • MJ Research Project I
  • MJ Research Project II
  • Business Administration Elective I
  • Business Administration Elective II
  • Business Administration Elective III
  • MJ Law
  • MJ Bachelor-Seminar

Within the major Marketing & Sales students therefore take part in the courses consumer psychology, advertising psychology as well as three business administration electives from the following selection:

  • Brand Management
  • Regional Marketing
  • International Marketing Management (in English)
  • Markets and Market Behavior in Northern Europe
  • Sales Management
  • Marketing-Controlling
  • Marketing Plans (in English)
  • Strategic and operative Marketing

Within the major HRM & Organization students will take part in the courses Organizational Psychology, Occupational Psychology as well as three business administration electives from the following selection:

  • The Economic and Socio-Political Environment of a Company
  • Basics of Human Resource Management
  • Selected Topics of Human Resources & Management
  • Strategic and Operative Human Resource Management
  • Strategic Management 
  • Seminar - Human Resource Management
