 The Institute Ma.Vi.Tec - Machine Vision Technology - acts on the sector of machine vision. The Institute is made up of two separate fields of activity: The industrial sector concentrates on developing, manufacturing and selling inspection systems and components for optoelectronic quality controlling in the field of (automated-) production. In this case the priority is given to high quality, process optimization and customized products. Our products and services are state of the art. The scientific sector does research in the field of image analysis. Currently three funded projects, CICAD MV (Center of Image Computing Aided Diagnosis for Machine Vision - Program for the Future Schleswig-Holstein), ANIMET (Automated optical imaging of individual useful animal – Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Program IngenieurNachwuchs) and HSC (High speed controller – Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Program ZIM), are in process. Also papers and publications are the results of graduations. Background of these activities is the developing of new algorithm, hardware structures and applications for the future.
