| Lernziele / Kompetenzen | Knowledge This course is designed to meet the needs of students who intend to actively use English in their future career. The material offered covers a range of technical topics at an intermediate level, which will help students to perfect their written and oral communication skills. Skills Emphasis will be on presentation skills as well as teaching students to read and analyse scientific texts including an introduction to citation styles, follow lectures and discuss a variety of technical topics. The four skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing, will be practised extensively. Personal competences Students will work in pairs and groups to analyse, discuss and negotiate case studies. |
